Born on a snowy November day in Homer, Alaska, home of ridiculously good halibut. Always an athlete, competed in basketball, volleyball, cross-country skiing, triathlon, cross-country running, and track and field. Northern Arizona University alumni in cross-country running, competed against other NCAA D1 schools at national cross-country meets and also ran steeple, 5k, and 10k on the track while pursuing Psych and English master's degree...current profession is technical writer at a software company. Lives in the Highlands with fiance Michael Friedberg (Fetzer) and crazy hound dog Kenai.
