I have been riding bikes on and off since 2005. I got serious about it in the summer of 2008. I raced for the University of Kentucky Cycling Team during my senior year at UK and had a blast. I am now working in Louisville and look forward to racing for Bikeclicks/Team Louisville!

I'm in high school at Trinity. I started cycling for fun with my Dad. When I started passing him up, he decided I needed a better bike and here I am racing.

Road in college, graduated, stopped riding and got big, 265lb big. Had life changing moment in 2002 which started me riding again. Dropped 100lbs and actually felt good. Go figure! After several years of getting my butt kicked and dropped, decided to get serious. I only look back now to see who I dropped.

I was a hard core runner with injuries that forced me on the bike for training. I then switched to cycling because its more fun and faster without the nagging injuries. I have ridden since 2007 and raced since 2008.

I bought my first bike in 2007 to lose weight after my previous attempt to do so by running failed miserably. I 'competed' in my first race later that year, but did not get serious about training until I joined Team Louisville in September 2008. Now that I have concrete goals and a plan to achieve them, I hope to make an impact on any hilly climber's race I can get my hands on.

I got started riding when I got a bike to help me get in better shape for cross country. It didn't take long riding with Aaron Mundy and Jay Porter to get me into shape, I became much better at riding than running.

Began road cycling in 2005 and tried racing in 2006. Joined Team Louisville in 2007 and upgraded to Cat. 3 at the close of the 2008 season. Looking forward to the Masters Nationals in 2009, and a second season of Cyclocross.
